Up for sale is a nice quality antique 19th century handmade chip carved wooden box/trunk. This lovely box is beautifully carved throughout with a chip-carved style and has acquired a gorgeous patina from age. The box is nicely footed and has two swing doors in the front that have very ornate glass privacy panels set in each. The lid opens and closes on a hinge and locks the lid and doors at the front with its original key. It has a hand painted geometric design under the lid and a velour lined compartmentalized interior and pull out doors behind the glass doors.

It is in nice antique condition and measures 19 1/2 inches long by 10 3/4 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches tall. Staining to the interior, and a crack on the lid as seen in last photo.
