Lovely antique Black Forest style wooden jewelry box or chest, hand-carved rose design. Working original key and lock, all in excellent vintage condition.
Belonged to my late grandmother, stored in my smoke-free home for many years. Please see pics for detail. Slight usage wear and edge wear, and color loss in some areas as shown in pics.
A few scratches on bottom. The stain is dark brown, and this item has not been modified or repaired. Exterior is dusty in the carved crevices but I don't know how to safely clean so will leave that to the experts.
